This is simple and affecting music. Seth and Scott, the Avett brothers, share vocals and make some sweet country, folk, bluegrass, mellow rock music. The title track leads off the record and remains the highlight. But what follows is just about as good—especially, “Tin Drum Heart,” “January Wedding,” and “It Goes On and On.” This was their major label debut and established them as a national act.
