65. Warren Zevon—STAND IN THE FIRE

One of the greatest live rock records ever—especially if you’re already a Warren Zevon fan. It’s intense and often hilarious as Warren and band run through most of his best songs and have a rockin’ good time. The highlight, of course, is a raucous “Werewolves of London” (with some added, context-specific lyrics), but standing right beside it are smoking versions of “Excitable Boy,” “Lawyers, Guns, and Money,” “Poor, Poor Pitiful Me,” and “Hasten Down the Wind.”
